Travis Scott Deactivates Instagram Account After Fans Drag Halloween Costume

Halloween had many relishing in spooky content, partying and sharing creative costumes alike. Hallow’s Eve usually brings a slew of impressive outfits from celebrities and public figures, but it looks like one might have led to a less-than-positive or even expected chain of events. On Sunday, fans noticed that rapper and musician Travis Scott appeared to deactivate his Instagram account — and some suspect that it could have been tied to his Halloween costume. This past weekend, Scott had shared pictures and a video of himself – to which were quickly met with backlash and jokes all over social media.

One of the photos shared had Scott in a Michael Keaton-inspired Batsuit, while posed next to his themed brown vehicles. While the costume was undoubtedly complex, detailed and well-executed, the brown hue of the costume caught ire and confusion on social media. Some even compared Scott’s costume to a cockroach.

That being said, not all of his fans think that Scott deactivated his Instagram due to the costume itself. Scott’s latest single, “Franchise (Remix)”, arrived last month, and some have begun to theorize that he deleted his Instagram in an attempt to tease that other new music is on the way. Nothing else is known at this point.
