Toronto is once again preparing to welcome thousands of music fans, industry professionals, and emerging artists as NXNE returns from June 10–14, 2026. Now in its 31st year, the iconic festival continues its reputation as one of Canada’s premier destinations for discovering tomorrow’s biggest stars while celebrating established names in intimate and unexpected settings across the city. With more than 300 artists performing at over 30 venues throughout Toronto, NXNE 2026 promises five days packed with live music, culture, networking, and unforgettable experiences.
A Lineup That Blends Global Stars and Emerging Talent

This year’s festival features one of NXNE’s most ambitious lineups to date. Fans can look forward to special performances from artists including MGK, bbno$, Dan + Shay, BLOND, and Nemahsis, helping solidify NXNE as a destination for both mainstream audiences and music tastemakers.
Beyond the headliners, NXNE remains committed to spotlighting rising talent from Canada and around the world. The festival’s artist roster includes acts such as Fionn, Frank Walker, Sickick, Yot Club, Grae, Hillari, and dozens of other emerging performers selected from more than 2,000 applications. The result is a diverse musical experience spanning indie rock, hip-hop, electronic, R&B, country, pop, and alternative genres.
Billboard Canada Brings Music to The Well
One of the festival’s newest additions arrives through a partnership between Billboard Canada and NXNE at The Well. Running throughout the festival, the series will feature live performances integrated into the downtown destination’s open-air environment. Headlined by Fionn and featuring artists such as Amber-Jo Bowman, Canopy, Will Clift, and enemies, lovers, the initiative reflects NXNE’s ongoing mission to bring live music directly into Toronto’s everyday spaces.
One of NXNE’s defining strengths is its city-wide footprint. Rather than being confined to a single festival ground, performances take place throughout Toronto, allowing attendees to explore different neighbourhoods while discovering new music.
More Than 30 Venues Across the City
Shows will be hosted in venues throughout downtown Toronto, from legendary Queen West and Kensington Market locations to emerging cultural hubs across the city. Festival organizers have also expanded programming to include stages at major transportation hubs, including Union Station, Billy Bishop Airport, and Pearson Airport, bringing live music directly to residents and visitors alike.
New for 2026 is SOUNDSTAGE at the W Toronto in Yorkville, a premium venue designed to host exclusive performances, industry events, and special showcases. Meanwhile, the newly introduced NXNE Artist House on Spadina Avenue will serve as a central gathering place for artists, delegates, and creatives throughout festival week.
How to Get Tickets
Festival passes are currently available through the official NXNE website, with full-festival passes starting at just $49. Pass holders gain access to hundreds of performances, events, showcases, and industry programming throughout the week. Attendees can browse artists, schedules, venues, and event calendars online to build their own personalized festival experience before arriving.
As Toronto prepares for another summer celebration of music discovery, NXNE 2026 continues to prove why it remains one of North America’s most influential music festivals. Whether you’re hoping to catch a future superstar in a packed club, experience a surprise headline performance, or simply explore the city through live music, NXNE offers a unique opportunity to be part of what’s next.
